Born in San Jose 11/9/29, moved to Oakland at 9 mos.  I attended San Jose State University, majoring in the Speech Arts, and  qualified for teaching English.  Then I attended San Francisco Theological Seminary, in Marin County.  Your mom and I were confirmed as Episcopalians by the Bishop of Oregon in December, 1960.  We moved to New York City in 1961, where I studied at the General Theological Seminary; the first Episcopal seminary in the U.S.A.  I was ordained Deacon in 1962, and Priest in1963, by the Bishop of Rhode Island, John S. Higgins, at the church where I was Assistant to the Rector of St. Martin's Parish in Providence.  Bishop Higgins baptized you in 1964.
